Fatal crash at St. Joe

Thomas Clay Clark, 34, of Harrison, was fatally injured and Mary Pollyea, 62, of Jasper, was injured in a two-vehicle crash that happened at 5:38 p.m., Tuesday, Jan. 7, on US 65 at St. Joe in Searcy County, according to Arkansas State Police.
Clark was the driver of a 2005 Hyundai and Pollyea was the driver of a 2016 Jeep Wrangler, according to the report filed by Cpl. Nathan L. Holder. Clark was southbound and Pollyea was headed north.
The Hyundai apparently crossed the double yellow line and stuck the Jeep head-on in the northbound lane.
The weather was clear and the road was dry, according to the report. The injured were taken to North Arkansas Regional Medical Center.
