I hope everyone had a safe and healthy week this past week. Addi and my mother, Donna Plumlee, attended the Women’s ABIDE conference at Batavia Assembly of God on Friday evening. There were around 400 women in attendance. Our long-time friend, Peggy Caldwell, was the featured speaker. Everyone I have talked to said it was a great conference.
On Saturday, Addi and I took Addi’s grandmother, Phyllis Young, to Branson for a shopping trip and lunch. Happy birthday to Phyllis, who turned 92 on Friday, March 21. There was a family celebration in her honor on Friday evening. We love having her next door, and wish her many more happy birthdays.
The congregation at the New Hope Full Gospel Church enjoyed singing by Luell Bower during the morning services last Sunday. We always enjoy getting to be with Luell in church.

Spring break for the Harrison School District will be March 24-28. I am sure the students and staff are looking forward to a week of vacation. Some of our friends have plans to travel, but we will be staying close to home.
We want to express our sympathy to the family of Charlotte “Toppy” Parker. Her funeral and burial were this past week. Our thoughts and prayers are with her family at this sad time.
Thank you to those who continue to save the Best Choice labels for the Compton Volunteer Fire Department. I received another envelope this week full of labels. We appreciate your support.
