Car show benefits seniors

There were a large number of quality rides on exhibit last Saturday at the benefit car show held at the Newton County Senior Activity and Wellness Center in Jasper. On display were a wide variety of automobiles, pickup trucks, motorcycles and even a tractor. The show was presented by the Newton County Senior Activity and Wellness Center. Proceeds from the show went to help fund the center's Meals on Wheels program that provides food for homebound seniors.
