Bull Shoals Lake body identified

The Marion County Sheriff's office reported that at 1 p.m. on Thursday, April 12, they were dispatched to Welcome Ridge boat launch area in northern Marion County after area residents located the body of an unidentified white female, floating just offshore in Bull Shoals Lake.
The sheriff's office has revealed that body has been positively identified by a family member as Sharon Rose Harris, 80, of Rowlett, Texas.

Harris’s body has been sent to the State Medical Examiner’s Office of the Arkansas State Crime Laboratory for an autopsy to determine the cause and manner of death.
A vehicle was later recovered from the boat launch ramp that was linked to Harris and on the evening following the discovery of the body, investigators took a missing persons report.
