MARSHALL —On-going projects receiving funding from the Buffalo River Conservation Committee (BRCC) were reviewed during a meeting of the committee Friday afternoon, Nov. 18, at the Veteran's Memorial Hall in Marshall. These projects included road, water and sewer infrastructure improvements in Newton and Searcy counties, cost share programs for agriculture, tourism and tourism impacts including a discussion of preparations for the coming solar eclipse in April 2024 which will be most prominently experienced in portions of the watershed.
