BERRYVILLE — Berryville School District administration and safety officials responded to a student who was found with a B gun at the Intermediate School on Wednesday. The student and the gun were removed from the school immediately and without incident.
“The safety of our students is always the highest priority of our district,” Berryville School District Superintendent Went Powell said. “We feel that every student deserves a safe learning environment. Bringing any weapon, or any item that could be used as a weapon, to school is a serious offense and will be dealt with accordingly.”
