As life goes by

It is amazing what a week of snow will do to a person! In fact, two days felt like a week! When the snow was forecast to begin I had to cancel a few things I was doing that day. I was going to get my nails done, take food to the workers at Spay AR in Springdale and get tires put on my car. The only thing I did was watch the Hogs play ball on TV that evening. The next day I was supposed to play pinochle at church, but the snow kept all of us away.
I still haven’t gotten new tires since two of my tires have nails in them I have to get them.
The kids are going back to school on Monday. The weather looks like it will be warmer and no snow.
My granddaughter, Samantha, went to the mailbox and found it on the ground. I guess someone ran into it. Maybe someone will let us know what happened when we all get out and around again. The funny thing is that the mailman put mail into it on the ground. Amazing!
Monday, Jan.13, is my daughter, Amanda’s 51st birthday. She is celebrating the day in Hawaii. She was sitting on the shore enjoying an extra four hours of being 50! Next Saturday my sister, Jackie is celebrating her 90th birthday. She was born on January 22, 1935. Her daughter, Lynn called Jackie to tell her she was getting on a plane heading to Philadelphia because Lynn is going to be a grandma soon.
I watched the funeral of Jimmy Carter our 39th president. The speakers had so many nice things to say about him. He had spent forty years after he was president doing many good things with his life. He was very intelligent and very caring about people and their needs.
