2025 Northwest Arkansas Quilt Workshops continue

The 2025 Northwest Arkansas Quilt Workshop series began Thursday, April 3, at the Signature Bank Community Room located at the Signature Bank Building in downtown Harrison. The series of weekly workshops, continues April 10, April 17, April 24 and May 1.
The weekly workshops begin with registration at 8:30 a.m.
The April 10 workshop is being presented by the Boone County Quilters an EHC project club, and corporate sponsor Farm Bureau of Boone County.
The day will begin with Judy Maine of Remember Me Quilt Shop of Mountain Home, who will present "How to Become a Great Strip Quilter."
9:50 a.m. - Quilters College I - members of the Boone County Quilters will present "the Magic of the Fourth - Part 1."
10:30 a.m. - Quilt Crafts with Virginia and friends, Day 2 - quilted Christmas stocking.
10:40 a.m. - Door prizes and fat quarter bundles.
10:45 a.m. - Pass the Hat
10:50 a.m. - Break
11:20 a.m. - Quilters College II - Boone County EHC Quilters present, "the Magic of the Fours, Part 2."
11:50 a.m. - Judy Fincher presentes Kawandi Quilt.
12:05 p.m. - Mystery Quilt, step 2.
12:20 p.m. - Show andTell

A look ahead to the April 17 workshop again shows registration at 8:30 a.m.
The day's events will be presented by Material Girls Sewciety, an EHC project club and corporate sponsor Corner Stone Bank.

The day will begin with a welcome by Tamara Allen chair of the Northwest Arkansas Quilting Workshop.
At 9:10 will be a presentation by William Tollett, executive Director of Hose of Hope.
The rest of the day's schedule includes:
9:15 a.m. - Amber Poemones of Sew Simple Quilt Shop of Ozark, Missouri, will present "What's New at the Shoppe."
9:35 a.m. - Quilter's College I, Stacie Bloomfield of Ginger, an Arkansas-based artist and Moda fabric designer, will share the process of creating original designs. She will discuss how they are transformed into the fabric and goods that encourage and inspire.
10:20 a.m. - Pass the Hat
10:25 a.m. - "Scrappy Pin Cushions," quilt crafts with Virginia and Friends.
10:30 a.m. - Daily door prizes and fat quarter bundles.
10:35 a.m. - Break
11:05 a.m. - Quilters College I (continued).
11:25 a.m. - Quilters College II - Shawn Williams of Shawn's Sewing Center in Springfield, Missouri, will preview his afternoon shessionbwhere he covers many topics related to best practices including choice of threads, needles, domestic sewing machine and long-arm care and troubleshooting.
11:55 a.m. - Mystery Quilt step three.
12:10 p.m. - show and Tell
12:30 dismiss/Lunch
1:15 p.m. - 3 p.m. - "Best Practices, Notions and Machines," with Shawn Williams.
