QUITMAN — There were 1.5 points separating three teams in the finals standings of the Class 1A State Track Meet that was finished in Quitman.
Emerson finished with 60.5 points for fourth place. Kingston had 60 points for fifth and Omaha had 59 for sixth place in the event.
Magazine won the event with 104 points while Mineral Springs was second with 77.5.

Kinston placed in 11 different events on the way to earning 60 points and fifth place.
The team was state champion in the 4X200 Meter Relay. They finished the race in 1:54.56. The squad was third in the 4X800M Relay. They ran the distance in 11:46.31.
They also recorded a fourth place finish in the 4X100M Relay in 53.99.
Kylee Weaver finished in the top eight in three events. She was second in the High Jump with a leap of 4-11.00. She was seventh in the 300M Hurdles in a time of 57.78. She was eighth in the 100M Hurdles in a time of 19.22.
Camber Shrum also placed in three events. She was third in the 400M Dash in a time of 1:08.90. She was eighth in the 200M Dash in 28.44 and eighth in the Triple Jump with a leap of 29-11.00.
Three other Lady Yellow Jackets finished in the top eight in two events each.
Emma Kivell was third in the 3200M Run in a time of 13:02.18. She was fourth in the 1600M Run. She finished that race in 6:08.42.
