William Glen Dotson, 72, of Pelsor, died at North Arkansas Regional Medical Center in Harrison on Saturday, Feb. 3 (2018). Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 7, at Coffman Funeral Home in Jasper. Funeral will be 2: p.m., Thursday, Feb. 8, at Coffman Funeral Home in Jasper with Pastor James Compton officiating. Burial will follow in Cowell Cemetery.

The son of William Sam and Alma (Bolin) Dotson was born at Dry Creek on Sept. 21, 1945.
He was preceded in death by his father and his brother, Jimmy Doyle Dotson.
William is survived by his mother, Alma Dotson, of Harrison; his son, William Randy Dotson, of Cowell,; his daughter, Pam Young, of Cowell; his first wife and mother of his two children, Mildred Dotson, of Pelsor; his sisters, Linda Smith, of Pelsor, Donna Grovero, of Missouri, Jackie Rylee, of Omaha and Debbie Middleton, of Missouri.
He is also survived by five grandchildren, Ashley Kienlen, Jared Young, James Dotson, Charles Dotson and Hannah Dotson; a stepgrandchild, Kurt Young; three great-grandchildren, Joslun Jones, Wesley Kienlen, and Urijah Young; four great-stepgrandchildren; other relatives and friends.
Pallbearers will be Jared Young, James Dotson, Charles Dotson, Jamie Rylee, Dale Dotson and Michael Dotson.
Honorary pallbearers are Clifford Rylee, Newton County Nursing Home, the ER staff of NARMC and Dr. Sorg.
