Shelma Rose Kelton, 81, of Wayton, died Monday, Nov. 23 (2015) at North Arkansas Regional Medical Center in Harrison. Funeral is 2 p.m. Friday, Nov. 27, at Coffman Funeral Home Chapel in Jasper with Dale Holman and Tony Taylor officiating. Burial is in the Wayton Cemetery under the direction of Coffman Funeral Home of Jasper. Visitation will be 6 to 8 P.M. Wednesday, Nov. 25, at Coffman Funeral Home in Jasper.

The daughter of the late Leslie and Dorothy Fine (King) Henderson was born on Jan. 27, 1934 at Wayton. She married Orlan J.R. Kelton on July 9, 1953 at Clarksville. She was a housewife and had lived most of her life in Newton County.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Orlan J.R. Kelton; a son, Jeffery Kelton; three sisters, Wanda Massey, Karen Busby and Pearl Wagoner.

Survivors are two sons, Orlan Kelton and Edd Kelton both of Wayton; a daughter, Dorothy Adams of Deer; three brothers, Bill Henderson and wife, Carolyn of Fair Oaks, Ruddie Henderson and wife, Verlie of Harrison and Johnny Henderson of Wayton; three sisters, Betty Peeler and husband, Jerry of Jasper, Pat Thompson and husband, Tom of Jasper and Linda King and husband, Harold of Wayton; two grandchildren, Anna Duke and Quentin Adams; two sisters-in-law, Lou Ella Holman of Mo. and Georgia Hayward of Ky.; a niece, Lisa Duckett of Lead Hill and many other nieces, nephews, family and friends.

Pallbearers are Quentin Adams, Bobby Henderson, Brice Gresham, Jimmy Peeler, Matthew Slaughter and Gary Duckett.

Honorary pallbearers are Dr. Jimmy Justice and Newton County Home Health
