Mildred Patricia Van Curen, 95, of Harrison, died Wednesday, June 2 (2015), at Highlands of Harrison at Tims in Harrison. Visitation is open Friday afternoon at Roller-Christeson Funeral Home. Graveside service is 10 a.m. Saturday, June 27, at Beechwood Cemetery, Ponca, with Justin Villines officiating.
She was born Nov. 24, 1919, in Spearfish, S.D. Her parents were the late William E. and Lue (Keeton) Van Curen.
She was preceded in death by her brothers, Oliver Van Curen, Joe Van Curen, and Orbie Van Curen. Mildred’s main purpose in life was serving God. She was a member of First Assembly of God Church in Harrison.
Mildred is survived by numerous nieces and nephews and her large church family.
Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
