Jewell Fern Bell, of Springfield, Mo,, passed away at her home on Jan. 17 (2014). She was 77 years old. Funeral service will be on Thursday, Jan. 23, at the Mt. Judea Church of Christ at 2 p.m. Jimmy Lee McCutcheon will officiate. Burial will be in Mt. Judea Cemetery. There will be no visitation. Arrangements by Holt Memorial Chapel.
Pallbearers are Jerry Hamm, Terry Hamm, Bill Hamm, Kevin Cook, Ronnie Campbell, and Mack Cook.
The daughter of Howard and Posie (Standridge) Cook was born on Feb. 9, 1936 in Bass.
Survivors include one brother, Farris Cook, of Mt. Judea; two sisters, Lois Turner, of Springfield, Mo., and Patsy Hamm and her husband, Wayne, of Fayetteville and six nephews.
