He was the son of the late Roy and Pearl(Carpenter) Blackwell and was born in Witts Springs on Sept. 30, 1939. Guy retired from the Retail Clerks Association where he worked in the grocery store business.
He is survived by his daughter Laura Lewis of Addy, Wash.; sons, Gregory Blackwell of Fort Worth, Texas and Guy Blackwell, Jr. of Santa Clarita, Calif.; grandchildren, Christian Blackwell, Joshua Blackwell, Benjamin Blackwell and step grandchildren, Isaiah, Aliyah, and Sophia Rossil; and his brother Roger Blackwell of California.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his sister Sissy and brothers Rex and Ronald Blackwell.
