Emoline Tennison Chisum, 83, of Pelsor, died Thursday, April 28 (2016). Visitation will be from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday, May 1, at Holt Memorial Chapel.

Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Monday, May 2, at Lurton Assembly of God. Pastor Stanley Taylor and the Rev. Leonard Bob Chisum will officiate. Burial will be at Cowell Cemetery.

The daughter of the late John Samuel and Mary Jane (Hampton) Wheeler was born on June 11, 1932, at Chancel (Hurricane Creek). She was a member of the Lurton Assembly of God Church. She retired from ConAgra in Russellville after 26 years. 

Her first husband, Felix Tennison; second husband, Lester Chisum; two sisters; nine brothers; a great-grandson, Felix Fregoso; and son-in-law, J.D. Martin, preceded her in death. 

Survivors include three sons Michael “Ardell” Tennison, of Dover, Doyle Tennison and Teddy Tennison, of Pelsor; two daughters, Kathy Martin, of Deer, and Diane Race of Russellville; 15 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; a brother Raymond Wheeler, of Dover; a sister-in-law, Trilla Mae Wheeler, of Atkins; three stepsons; four stepdaughters; and numerous nieces, nephews, friends, and other family.  

Pallbearers include her grandsons, Chas Martin, Clint Martin, Michael Paul Tennison, Tracy Crow, Kelse Tennison, Dustin Race and Seth Race.
