Donnie Ray Villines, 70, of Low Gap, died Thursday, Sept. 27 (2018). Funeral is 2 p.m., Monday, Oct. 1, at Christeson/Roller Funeral Home in Harrison. Burial is in the Beechwoods Cemetery in Ponca. Lewis Villines, Craig Villines and Donovan Villines will conduct the services.

Donnie’s parents are the late Ross and Vesta Villines, of Ponca. He was born on July 17, 1948. Donnie served as a bi-vocational minister for 46 years and served as Associational Evangelist for the Union Association of United Baptists. He worked in construction and completed his career in construction working at Mountain Oak Products as a cabinet builder for 15 years.

He was preceded in death by a brother, Oran Villines and two infant sisters.

Donnie is survived by his wife of 48 years, Loretta Villines; three sons, Lewis, of Bethel Heights, Craig, of Marble and Donovan, of Hindsville; his stepmother, Bonnie Villines, of Jasper; two sisters, Verma Sue Ethridge, of Harrison and Karen Mussman, of Guyman, Oklahoma; four brothers, Otho “Toad” Villines, of Harrison, Conard Villines, of Clarksville, Jackie Villines, of Jasper, Marvin Villines, of Lowell and six grandchildren.

Pallbearers are Stevie Reynolds, Jacob Smith, Roger Daniels, Bob Parkhill, Jerry Wood, Lonnie Wood, Joe Paul James, and Jimmy House.

Honorary pallbearers are preacher friends, trading buddies, and the Jasper Class of 1965.
