Delta Winstead, 95, of Harrison, died Sunday, March 27 (2016) at Harrison Rehab & Health. Visitation will be 1 p.m. on Friday, April 1, with services immediately following at 2 p.m. at Holt Memorial Chapel in Harrison. Burial will be in the Mt. Judea Cemetery. Delta was born July 5, 1920 in Bass, the daughter of James Jefferson Criner and Jennie Dickey.She resided 80 years in Mt. Judea. She was a member of the Capps Road Church of Christ and a longtime member of the Mt. Judea Church of Christ.
She was preceded in death in 1988 by her husband, Guy Winstead, who she married on July 15, 1939; three brothers, S. Garvin Criner, Howard Criner and Jimmy Criner and three sisters, Dossie Criner, Jessie Hefley and Dorothy Winstead.
She is survived by many nieces and nephews.
She was a caregiver for others her entire life and will be missed by her family and friends.
