Mrs. Akins funeral service will be 10 a.m., Friday, July 3, at East Mt. Zion Trinity Baptist Church with Robbie Jackson officiating. Burial will follow in Miller Grove Cemetery.

Arrangements are under the direction of Roller-Cox Funeral Home (479) 754-2201. She was born March 16, 1931 in Durant, Okla. Her parents were the late William Nelson and Fanny May (Stinson) Russell.
Delouris enjoyed sewing, quilting, gardening, reading and puzzles. She was a member of East Mt. Zion Trinity Baptist Church.
Mrs. Akins is preceded in death by her husband, Clifford Akins.
She is survived by her daughters, Greta Akins of Clarksville, Shawn Finch of Greenbriar, and Freda Compton of Jasper; grandchildren, Leslie Wilson, David Shipman, and Tim Shipman; great-granddaughter, Adara Shipman.
