Christina Sue "Chris" (Fondren) Laxson, 44, died Tuesday, March 22 (2016) at Harrison. There will be a private memorial service at Mt. Sherman Cemetery. Cremation and arrangements by Coffman Funeral Home of Harrison.
The daughter of John Albert Fondren, Jr. and Martina (Fields) Fondren was born Jan. 30, 1972, at Flint, Mich. She moved to Arkansas in 1992 coming from Owosso, Mich.
She was preceded in death by her father and her grandparents, Martin and Dorothy Fields, Maryetta Feltner and John Albert "Jay" Fondren, Sr.
She is survived by her husband Kenny Laxson of the home; four daughters, Ashley Anderson, Casey Folks, Gracie Folks and Gabby Folks, all of Harrison; a step-son, Kade Laxson of Bergman; her mother, Tina Fondren of Jasper; a brother, John Albert Fondren, III, of Jasper, a sister, Jennifer Lynn Stacey of Jasper; two grandchildren; many other relatives and friends.
