Bill D. Fowler, 90, of Boxley, died Saturday, July 25, (2015) at his home. Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday, July 28, at the Boxley Baptist Church with  Rev. Claud Williams officiating. Interment will be in the Walnut Grove Cemetery at Boxley under the direction of Brashears Funeral Home www.brashearsfuneralhome.net of Huntsville. The family will receive friends from 5-7 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.

He was born March 14, 1925 at Mounds, Okla. His parents were the late Troy Wayne and Dixie Carroll Fowler. He was a veteran of World War II serving in the United States Navy, and had retired from the Agriculture Stabilization and Conservation Service in January of 1983. He was a farmer, a truck driver and co-owner of Boxley Farms, Inc. which he named. He was a member of the Boxley Baptist Church where he served as a deacon and former Sunday school teacher. He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, Carl Fowler and Troy Fowler, Jr., a sister, Helen "Tootsie" Clark and his son-in-law, Kenneth Tomasich.

Survivors include: his wife of 69 years, Nina Lee Duty Fowler of the home; a daughter, Dixie Lee Tomasich of Boxley; a brother and sister-in-law, Jimmy and Donna Fowler of Hilltop and a grandson and granddaughter-in-law, Kenny Fowler and Brandi Tomasich of Huntsville.

Pallbearers will be Fowler Tomasich, Todd House, Jamie House, Randy Gibbons, Gary Farmer and Eddy Fowler.

Honorary pallbearers will be: Dr. and Mrs. Charles Klepper and Main Street Medical Clinic Staff, North Arkansas Regional Medical Center Staff and the Highland-Tims and Hospice of the Hills Hospice House, all of Harrison, Arkansas.
